I use it to light dark steps to the basement in my home. They light up quickly and each one provides enough light for several steps (even when mounted a few inches above a step).Bought two sets (6 lights) for a double stairway. Ended up only needing 3 to do the job. Have only had them up for a few days so I can’t review the battery life but 3 AA batteries in each light should last a while.They work great and are brighter then expected. I’d buy them againLights are bright, easy to use and place. The one spit I place them it's a bit high up for the motion sensor I think, so I'll be moving to be more accessibleDisc lights are great. Love the motion detector, how well they illuminate and then they turn themselves off. Only needed 3 for an entire staircase leaving the rest to use elsewhere! Only works in the dark though so if you need something extra in a dimly lite area, may not work.I’ve placed the three of these on the stairs leading up to my apartment; one every third stair. I haven’t mounted them on the wall. I’ve just placed them on the corner of the stairs at an angle to the center of the space for best responsiveness. They are very reactive to motion, super bright and effectively light up my stairwell great! (battery life is unknown for these recently-installed light) So far, I’m very pleased.Bought 2 sets of these. Of the 6 lights, 4 did not work, and 2 worked only intermittently. Still looking for something that works, is bright enough for my application, and that works reliably from day one.
