My business had fluorescent troffers installed in our conference room for 20 years. I never liked the quality of light, and the fact we had to continually maintain them when the lamps or ballasts went out or began to flicker. My staff ordered fluorescent lamp replacements, but each batch we received could not be matched with what was up. Had to group relamp the room every time.Before going with these panels I tried some LED retrofit kit for the existing troffers, but the color was inconsistent and it still looked like fluorescent lamps through the acrylics lens. In addition the dimming never worked as advertised.I ordered these panels because thought the price was very reasonable and worth giving them a try. They look great. The color from panel to panel is consistent, and the warm light across the panel is blended perfectly. They also wired up effortlessly to our dimming gear with no issues.Good looking, good light output and fairly easy to install.These lights are designed to be installed in commercial T bar ceilings.If you want to install on a sheetrock ceiling you will need to purchase a box frame or cut a hole in drywall where the power supply protrudes off the back of light.The other thing is that these lights require special wiring for a 0-10v dimmer.If you don't need a dimmer switch then you don't need to do any additional wiring.Ordered four 2' x 2'LED panels. Product arrived on schedule, undamaged ( nice packaging ). All four panels used in my work shop for detail construction. Panels give much superior lighting vs. the fluorescent lighting they replaced. Nice, even, bright light. I found the panels easy to install. I will be ordering more in the future!The lights were as advertised. The metal frame. Were dented on both lights . they were usable and worked buT not happy on the drntsWe have used these in our office multiple times and they work fantastic! Easily used to set up and install, and provide the perfect amount of warmth of light.Very bright, they look awesome. Easy to install if you know what are you doing.The item arrived as sold and has worked very well for the purpose purchased.
